The Parliament of the Cayman Islands is a unicameral legislature enshrined in Part IV of the Constitution of the Cayman Islands. The membership of the legislature is comprised of 19 elected Members of Parliament (MPs) representing the 19 constituencies of the Islands, and two Governor-appointed ex-officio Members: the Attorney General and the Deputy Governor.

The Parliament of the Cayman Islands, located in George Town, was established in December 1831. Nearly two hundred years later, the Parliament has gone through several evolutions that have cemented it as the trusted heart of the country’s representative government.
