Speaker's Rules

The Speaker’s Rules

The Speaker’s Rules are guidelines establishing a professional code of dress and conduct for persons entering and/or attending the Parliament (other than Members or Parliamentary Officers), including those summoned to attend Meetings as well as members of the press. These rules highlight the appropriate level of respect to be shown to the Speaker, Members of Parliament, and the Parliament building and its precincts.
