Mrs. Hunter is currently serving as a first-term Member of Parliament following the 2025 general elections. She is the Parliamentary Secretary responsible for Planning, Lands, Agriculture, Housing and Infrastructure; Education and Training; Culture and Heritage.
Her tenure in the legal sector as Assistant Clerk of the Courts further enriched her understanding of the legal framework that supports public service, equipping her to address pressing issues such as affordable housing, healthcare access, and environmental sustainability.
Mrs. Hunter’s commitment to community service is evident through her involvement in initiatives like the Interschool Christian Fellowship and the Soup Kitchen Ministry. She has mentored at-risk youth through the Bonaventure Home Program and funded scholarships for young Caymanians. In recognition of her contributions, she was honoured on National Heroes Day in 2013 for her work in Youth Services and again in 2023 for her commitment to volunteerism.
As the Founder and President of Circle of Love, Mrs. Hunter has led the organisation for over 17 years, providing vital resources to families in need and fostering inclusion throughout the Cayman Islands. Her vision is to preserve the unique identity of the Cayman Islands while prioritising the needs of its people, ensuring a sustainable and prosperous future for all Caymanians.
