The Hon. Michael Myles brings over 35 years of dedicated service to families and youth in the Cayman Islands. He began his career as a Social Worker Intern at the Department of Social Services and quickly rose to leadership positions, including Team Leader at the Cayman Islands Marine Institute, House Manager at Bonaventure Boys Home, and At-Risk Youth Coordinator at the Ministry of Education.

His visionary approach led to , Hon. Myles spearheaded several impactful initiatives, such as the Behaviour and Education Support Teams (BEST), the Extended After School Programme, and Youth ACT. In 2019, he founded Inspire Cayman Training Ltd., an organisation committed to bridging the gap in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).

Hon. Myles’ passion for public service and leadership was shaped early in life. Awarded a four-year football scholarship to Lindsey Wilson College, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services in 1995. A national football player since the age of 10, he exemplifies discipline, teamwork, and commitment—values that have remained central to his professional journey.

In 2025, Hon. Myles was elected and appointed as the Minister for Caymanian Employment and Immigration, where he continues to advocate for the advancement and empowerment of the people of Prospect and the wider Cayman Islands.
