Members of Parliament will gather on Thursday, 23rd November at 10:00 a.m for the Second Special Meeting of the 2023-2024 Session. The first item of business will be the nomination and election of the new Speaker in accordance with Constitution Order No. 64.

Following this, business will include the review of the following Bills:

2. Banks and Trust Companies (Amendment) Bill, 2023
3. Companies (Amendment) Bill, 2023
4. Companies Management (Amendment) (No. 2), Bill, 2023

6. Insurance (Amendment) (No. 2) Bill, 2023
7. Limited Liability Companies (Amendment) Bill, 2023
8. Limited Liability Partnership (Amendment) Bill, 2023
9. Mutual Funds (Amendment) Bill, 2023
10. Virtual Asset (Service Providers) (Amendment) (No. 2) Bill, 2023
11. National Pensions (Amendment) Bill, 2023

In addition, the following two Government Motions will be dealt with:

1. Government Motion No. 3 of 2023-2024: Development and Planning Act (2021 Revision) – Development and Planning (Amendment) Regulations, 2023.
2. Government Motion No. 4 of 2023-2024: Change in Membership of the Standing Business Committee.
