The Fourth Sitting was held on Friday, 22nd September 2023 in the House of Parliament. The Order Paper for the day listed Statements as the primary event, as the House was expected to adjourn in order to go into Finance Committee.

However, the Hon. Speaker gave leave to Mr. Dwayne Seymour, MP for Bodden Town East, to give a Personal Explanation. Mr. Seymour tendered his resignation from the PACT Government and became an independent Member of the Opposition. The House was suspended for a few hours, but was adjourned at 6:37p.m.
